WSKG Arts examines the burgeoning movie industry in the Southern Tier

Thanks to the Binghamton Film Initiative, over a dozen films have been shot in the Binghamton area over the past couple years. This segment features an interview with director Ethan Alexis Scarduzio, and he explains why shooting a film upstate has major advantages over filming in a bigger city. We also see some scenes from Ethan’s film “Cul De Sac”, which was filmed in and around Broome County.
