I thought so.
[ Chuckles ] Well, I just so happen to have some [ Rattling ] [ Singsong ] bubble gum!
It's a lot in here, isn't there?
I think we should count it.
Have you ever counted by groups of five?
It's actually quite neat.
It has this cool pattern where each group will end in either a 5 or a 0.
A 5 or a 0.
Watch this.
5, 10 -- there's that 0, 15 -- there's that 5, 20!
There's that 0.
25!
There's that 5!
[ Mellow tune plays ] Somebody just said it.
30!
There's that 0.
Yes, somebody just said it!
35!
There's that 5.
See?
the pattern is just 5, 0, 5, 0, 5, 0.
We can do that.
Normally... [ Rattles ] ...it would take a while to make groups of 5, but I have this really cool thing that I'd like to use today called a bubble gum tray.
No, it's really not called that, but that's what I'm calling it today.
It's actually an ice tray.
Yeah, it's used to make ice, but not today.
We're going to make groups of 5 in the bubble gum tray... ...which is really an ice tray.
Let's do it.
Come on.
Lid off!
Well, just to make sure I have enough space for all my gum, I'm going to use two trays.
I'm trying to pour my gum out carefully so that the pieces don't go rolling away, like those few just did.
Yikes!
I love how they don't go in perfectly because then I can have a really good time spreading them out.
Once it's nice and flat, you can see that each part holds exactly five pieces of bubble gum.
Alright, friends, I'm going to need your help because, now, it's time to count.
Whew!
Whoa!
We hit 100 already?
Mm, should we give up?
No way!
The pattern really keeps going on.
Watch!
105, 110, 115.
Do you hear it?
5, 0, 5, 0.
So, let's keep counting.
Alright, take a deep breath.
Here we go!
Okay, it was really cool counting my 140 pieces [ Rattling ] of bubble gum with you guys.
