A path to Treatment.

Clip: Season 4 Episode 2 | 4m 42s

Dr. Ross Sullivan is the Director of Medical Toxicology at Upstate University Hospital.

Dr. Sullivan launched a special clinic with Upstate’s Emergency Center in 2016 to serve those addicted to opioids who arrived to the ER. They are given short-term prescriptions of Subozone, a version of buprenorphine in order to reduce withdrawal symptoms. The response helps patients get into a rehab program. Sullivan explains how the hundreds treated thus far are benefitting from the response.
